Our Philosophy

A Star Studio for Performing & Fine Arts offers the finest education in dance, drama, music, and art. Our mission is to inspire, enlighten, and instill a lifelong love of the arts.

Children are always using their imaginations. They’re always singing, dancing, acting and making up stories. More often than not, as they get older, this dwindles and fades. Our goal is to foster our students’ creativity and imaginations so that it becomes part of their identities. Being artistic is part of our human condition and we at A Star Studio believe education in the arts enhances all other facets of our lives.

At A Star Studio, we’ve created a nurturing environment where our students can explore their personal style and expression, discovering aspects of themselves they never knew existed. We focus on individualized attention and the enhancement of self-esteem, allowing each student to access their own artistic abilities within the framework of our expert instruction.

Our Mission

By focusing on individualized attention and the enhancement of self-esteem, our students are able to reach their own creative, expressive and physical potential and develop skills that augment all other facets of their lives. We have a unique community of teachers who embrace the philosophy of our school and collaborate with each other across the arts to plan the best possible training and experience for each student.

Performing is an important aspect of the artistic training process and together we create a story for our Annual Show that includes our entire school. All ages can feel the enchantment of the theatre and the magic of being on stage.

In addition to our annual shows we have Performing Groups who compete and perform frequently for such places as the Beat Radio Station, Shopping Channel, Children's Festival, and private functions, touching audiences with their eclectic works.

We work closely with the School Boards providing our highly acclaimed "Hip Hop Workshops" for Elementary and Secondary Schools; as well as enhancing school dances and other events with our DJs, Dancers and other performers. We also provide exciting corporate workshops and performances for the business community.
